Bought my C308 used in New condition right after Christmas 2015. CETME foregrip, fire control group and bolt/carrier assembly. Lower grip is G3 Navy. Upper is certainly PTR manufacture as is barrel. Muzzle brake is 'Chevron'/Century proprietary in 5/8x24. This Brake seems to work very well. Sights are CETME as is the bayonet lug.Will fit the following. HK 91, G3, PTR. CETME, C308 (with mods). I bought a used c308 in May and put wood on it before I even shot it. The rifle has good bolt and ct gap and is a pleasure to shoot. Overall fit and finish are good. Recently i came across a wood furniture C308 that has really caught my interest. General thoughts? Ive heard a lot of really good things, and some bad things (especially from older models). All the extractor does is hold the cartridge to the bolt face until the ejector can kick it out. A weak extractor spring or damaged extractor lip will allow the brass to drop out before the ejector can kick it. Your double feeds are likely a result of the brass falling off the bolt face.
